Our organic ganoderma tincture can be used to promote peace and wellbeing. To do so, we recommend adding reishi extract to your evening routine by using 1ml approximately 1 hour before sleep. Place directly under your tongue or add to a hot or cold drink.
Our reishi is sourced from Southern Finland on Finnish birch substrate,FSC or PEFC certified to ensure responsible management of forests. This organic ganoderma tincture is completely free of synthetic ingredients. Only fruiting bodies are used in production, and no fillers or mycelium grain are included, to ensure that this is a functional tincture – potent and containing all the benefits of the reishi mushroom.
Finally, correct extraction from the mushroom is key to ensure a pure and potent tincture. By using Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology, the compounds of interest are removed from the chitin wall of the reishi mushrooms. This increases the bioavailability of our teishi tincture, increasing its effectiveness. Reishi Origin & Appearance The reishi mushroom (lingzhi) is a polypore fungus, and is also known as the ganoderma lingzhi because it belongs to the genus ganoderma. It grows in humid climates and has a red-varnished colour and a kidney-shaped cap which grows parallel to its stem, resulting in a unique outline similar to that of a peacock showing its feathers.
Among cultivated mushrooms, the reishi mushroom is unique due to its paramount pharmaceutical value, as opposed to its nutritional value.
As well as helping to reduce fatigue, a common use of reishi mushroom supplements is to boost the immune system. Several in vitro studies have demonstrated a variety of positive effects reishi can have on genes in white blood cells, which are critical to the immune system. Reishi extract is used to promote health and longevity in traditional Chinese medicine. It is also known as lingzhi, which means “herb of spiritual potency”, and recent reports have
provided support to the traditional claims of the health benefits of these mushrooms. The name lingzhi originates from a mix of spiritual potency and essence of immortality.
