Biocera Alkaline Water Jug

The Biocera Alkaline Water Jug allows you to enjoy the simple pleasure of alkaline water inexpensively.  In the past, having alkaline ionized water required an expensive setup in your kitchen.  With the use of natural bioceramics, Biocera has made the detoxifying effects of alkaline water affordable. With this system, all you need is tap water and you’re ready to take advantage of the health benefits of alkaline drinking water.

Biocera alkaline and antioxidant filters have the ability to turn your tap water into mineral rich alkaline water that carries antioxidant properties.  These new alkaline and antioxidant filters interact with water and minerals to increase free hydrogen in the water.  This free hydrogen is reported to have antioxidant ability and hence overall health benefits.

What Bioceramics Do

Biocera ceramic filters alter tap water pH making it more alkaline somewhere between 8.5 and 9.5.  The oxidative-reduction potential (ORP) has been changed somewhere between -100mV and -250mV.  Biocera ceramic filters actually reduce the size of water molecule clusters so that water is more easily taken in by the intestine allowing for fast hydration.  This filter also deposits alkaline minerals such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium.  These filters has the ability to remove heavy metals, chlorine, and nasty organics such as pesticides.

What is pH

Some of you may not be familiar with pH (hydrogen potential).  This is actually a logarithmic scale (base 10) used to measure hydrogen ions (H+) in solution.  Water naturally ionizes into H+ and OH- (hydroxyl groups).  There’s always a certain amount of these ions around with the rest being in the form of water (H2O).  Since there are equal numbers of H+ to OH-, the pH of the water is neutral.  The pH scale runs from 0 to 14 meaning 0 to 6.9 is acidic, 7 is neutral, and 7.1 to 14 is basic (alkaline).  Since this is a base 10 logarithmic scale, a water solution that has a pH of 1 is tens times more acidic than a water solution at a pH of 2.  The normal pH range of blood is 7.3 to 7.4 which is slightly alkaline.  This range must be maintained for your body to function properly.  Below 7.3 you’re in acidosis and above 7.4 you’re in alkylosis (both deadly).  Since many people drink sodas, consider your favorite cola brand which contains phosphoric acid.  Did you know that the pH of the soda is around 2.5.  When you are eating, your stomach pH is around 2.  That’s extremely acidic.  In fact, it’s almost 50,000 times more acidic than neutral water.  Did you know that it would take 32 glasses of neutral water to neutralize 1 glass of cola.  Your blood has buffers that work quickly to keep pH within the normal range however, sometimes it can’t keep up.  Metabolism itself is geared toward acidosis so you body is constantly fighting this end result.  Your blood pH is affected by foods you eat and drink, stress, pollution, exercise, and even your breathing rate.  Drinking water high in pH can help fight the tendency to create acidosis and keep you healthy.  Raising water pH is a good thing, however, the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) of water is even more important.

Oxidative-Reduction Potential (ORP)

In water systems, atoms, molecules, and their ionic forms  are in constant motion seeking out their lowest energy state.  These systems try to reach equilibrium by exchanging electrons.  The process of exchanging electrons is referred to as an oxidation-reduction reaction or REDOX for short.  These kinds of reactions occur naturally in water but also in every cell of our bodies.  Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) is a common parameter that is used to measure REDOX reactions.  In a REDOX reaction one atom or molecule gives up electron(s) and another atom or molecule receives electron(s).  These two atoms or molecules are referred to as a REDOX pair.  The entity that loses electron(s) is said to be oxidized and the other entity that gains electrons is said to be reduced.  If an entity gives up electrons is referred to as the reducing agent while the entity that receives electrons is referred to as an oxidizing agent.  As an aside, don’t be confused by the word oxidized, a somewhat unfortunate term.  The term originally came from the fact that oxygen has one of the highest affinities for electrons so oxygen oxidizes or steals electrons.  However, oxygen is not required for these reactions to occur.  Electron flow goes to  the entity with the strongest attraction for electrons.  When electrons are transferred this way, energy is released.  When you alter the ORP of water, this causes water to microcluster (cluster size reduction), activate antioxidant properties and create an oxygenating effect.

Filter Composition

The Biocera filter has a pre-filter system made of course particles that prevent large particles from clogging the actual filter chamber.  The pre-filter system also has a fine polypropylene network that prevents small particles from entering the main filter.  This system also contains activated carbon to absorb chlorine and any harmful organic compounds.  Antioxidant spheres lower the oxidative-reduction potential  (ORP) of water providing antioxidant properties and reduce water cluster size.    Far infra red ceramic balls provide for ten different kinds of minerals.  This supports increased energy levels of the water as well as decrease concentration of residual heavy metals.  To prevent bacterial growth in the filter, anti-bacterial ceramic balls have been added.  A final polypropylene layer has been added to prevent fine particles from exiting the filter.  Each cartridge will last from six to eight weeks assuming you have filtered 250 liters of water.  If your tap water is particular hard, you may have to replace the cartridge more often. Biocera has made alkaline antioxidant water available to the public in a very affordable way.  This 1.8 liter jug will fit most refrigerator doors making it convenient for all your water needs.  Water is available anytime you need it whether for drinking, cooking, coffee, or tea.  Given that our diets are comprised of a lot of fast foods which brings our bodies to an acidosis state, drinking alkaline antioxidant water can help restore normal body pH balance.  Most diseases are brought on by body acidity including cancer, diabetes, and arthritis to mention a few.  In other words, metabolic acidosis is a indicator of a diseased state.

Biocera natural ceramic filters surpass ordinary filters of the past.  Reverse osmosis, distilled, and bottled water all provide an acidic and oxidizing fluid.  They are also very expensive.  Biocera’s natural ceramic ball provides for abundant active hydrogen. This filter provides for antioxidant  power with superior reducing power fighting oxidative stress.  Effectively reduces water cluster size increasing body hydration.  Addition of minerals promotes metabolic balance and energy not to mention the water simply tastes better.  All of this at an affordable price.

About Biocera

Biocera specializes in manufacturing and selling of water-activating ceramic balls,  photo-catalyst air purification systems, antibacterial and alkaline water medical devices.  They are known for their environmentally-friendly products.  This is a Korean based company that has been proven safe and certified by the FDA for Biocera A and Biocera T products.  The natural ceramic cartridge is supplied by Biocera, one of the foremost companies in natural ceramic technology.  They were the first company to receive a National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approval for their ceramic balls.  NSF international provides Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems which is concerned with food safety, water quality, public health, and product testing services.  So, Biocera has received a leading international approval certification for product safety.
