When you are looking to gain strength, there are certain training principles you must follow. 1. Focus on compound movements; you want to concentrate on the best bang for your buck exercises like squats, deads, and presses. 2. Low volume; since you are going to be moving some serious weight, the overall sets and reps should be lower than in a conditioning or fat loss routine. 3. Longer rest between sets; Every rep of each set needs to be performed with maximum explosiveness and effort. To due so, you will need to take adequate rest between each set. This is not a circuit! The Raw Strength Barbell Workout takes these core strength training principles and gives them an unconventional twist!

Perform every round of each barbell exercise before moving to the next strength training exercise. Take 2-3 minutes rest between each barbell exercise and each round of this strength workout.
